Directed by Grammy-nominated filmmaker Paul Dugdale, Ghost Stories Live 2014 captures Coldplay’s intimate performance of the Ghost Stories album for a select audience in March 2014, two months before the record’s release. Filmed in a custom-built amphitheatre at Sony Studios in Los Angeles, the production immerses the band in stunning 360-degree and overhead visuals that bring the album’s emotional world to life. The project also features live recordings from the band’s acclaimed performances in London, Sydney, Paris, Cologne, New York, and Los Angeles between April and July 2014, along with eight music videos from the Ghost Stories era — including two previously unreleased films for the B-sides “All Your Friends” and “Ghost Story,” plus an extended director’s cut of “Magic” featuring a new cameo by Peter Fonda.
